Return & Refund Policy

Island of Comfort Ltd

At Island of Comfort Ltd, we strive to ensure every order arrives in perfect condition. Please read our policy below regarding returns and damages.

30-Day Policy (Damaged or Incorrect Items Only)

We offer a 30-day return policy strictly for items that are delivered damaged, faulty, or if the incorrect item was delivered.

Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. If your item has arrived damaged or is not what you ordered, you must report this to us and initiate a return within 30 days of the delivery date.

Important: We do not accept returns for "change of mind." If the correct item has been delivered in good condition, it is non-returnable. Please ensure you are 100% happy with your choice of style, color, and size before placing your order.

How to Return a Damaged/Faulty Item

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service team immediately if you discover a fault or damage.

  2. Assessment: We may ask for photos of the damage to assess the issue.

  3. Collection: If the return is approved due to a fault or error on our part, we will arrange for a collection.

  4. Refund: Once the item is received and inspected by our team, you will receive a full refund.

Return Costs

  • Faulty/Damaged/Incorrect Items: If you are returning an item because it arrived faulty, damaged, or we delivered the wrong product, you will not be charged. We will cover the cost of the collection.

  • Change of Mind: As stated above, we do not accept returns for unwanted items or change of mind. Therefore, no collection service is offered for this purpose.

Condition of Returns

To ensure a safe return transit, items must be returned in their original packaging (or suitable protective packaging similar to the original).

Our collections team will inspect the product on-site with you to confirm the reported damage or fault before taking the item.

Exceptions & Exclusions

We do not accept return requests under the following circumstances:

  • Change of Mind: The item is free of faults and matches your order, but you have decided you no longer want it.

  • Time Limit Exceeded: The return request is made more than 30 days after delivery.

  • Customer Damage: The item has been damaged due to misuse, wear and tear, or accidents that occurred after the delivery was completed.

  • Dishonesty: We suspect dishonesty or misconduct regarding the claim.

  • Prior Claims: The returns policy has already been used against a prior purchase for the same customer excessively.

FAQ on Furniture Care

These FAQs offer essential tips for maintaining and caring for various types of furniture, ensuring that your pieces remain in excellent condition for years to come.

How should I clean my furniture?

To maintain the beauty of your furniture, dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a cleaner appropriate for the material—wood, leather, or fabric. Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and test any cleaning product in an inconspicuous area first.

How can I protect my furniture from stains?

Protect your furniture by using coasters, placemats, and protective covers where applicable. For upholstered pieces, consider using a fabric protector. Address spills and stains immediately by blotting with a clean cloth—never rub the area, as this can spread the stain.

How do I prevent wood furniture from scratching?

Place felt pads under objects that could scratch the surface and avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight to prevent fading and warping. Regularly polish wood furniture with a suitable polish to maintain its luster and provide a protective layer.

What should I do if my leather furniture gets damaged?

For minor scratches, use a leather conditioner to restore the surface. For more significant damage, consult a professional upholsterer or leather repair specialist. Regularly condition leather furniture to keep it supple and prevent cracking.
